CAULFIELD GUINEAS.
This has got be up there with the very best days on the racing calendar!
Three Group 1 events and a handful of unbelievably competitive support races. Caulfield Guineas day typically produces the goods and I imagine this will be no different.
In the Might And Power (formerly the Caulfield Stakes), Anamoe finally joins in on the Zaaki versus I'm Thunderstruck versus Mr Brightside versus Mo'unga versus Alligator Blood clashes that we've witness a couple of times already.
Will Anamoe just handle these?
In the Guineas - Godolphin lost the pre-post favourite so replaced him (Aft Cabin) with another (Golden Mile). But, this is certainly not a race to be owned by the blue army. There are many winning chances.
Leviathan owner and AFL player agent to the stars, Paul Connors, joined me on Horsepower this week to discuss his excitement at being a part-owner of Elliptical, a $14 chance in the Guineas.
You can listen to that episode here.
We were a tad off on the punt last week... but this weeks brings about a new card of races and more winner to be found...
