Divisional Round NFL picks

Updated: Jan 23

Last week, Tom Stewart joined me on the pod and dominated, picking 6/6 across Wildcard Weekend.

Ladbrokes’ racing and sports media megastar Nick Quinn joined me this week and this is how we picked the Divisional contests. BENGALS @ BILLS Both defensive lines can dominate. Here’s hoping Burrow can lead his Bengals to another road playoff victory, something he managed twice last season. Josh Allen is a weapon and might be too much for Cincinnati’s over-achieving defence but I’m sticking with my Bengals. JJ’s PICK - Bengals 23, Bills 21 QUINNY - Bills 37, Bengals 34

DALLAS @ SAN FRANCISCO Big D were irrepressible against Tampa but this is a whole new ball game. San Francisco are streaking, having won 11 on the spin, largely behind rookie QB Brock Purdy. Alongside Deebo, Kittle, McCaffrey and Aiyuk (and Kyle Shanahan), this is an offence full of weapons. It’s also a defence full of beasts. Dallas are potent when the game is on their terms so the opening few drives will be key for the men from America’s Team. JJ’s PICK - Niners 27, Cowboys 24 QUINNY - Niners 28, Cowboys 21 JACKSONVILLE @ KANSAS CITY The Jags were phenomenal recovering from the depths of playoff despair last week so the question is momentum or freshness. KC are rested and healthy and… have Patrick Mahomes. We saw these two clash earlier this season with the Chiefs jumping to a 20-0 lead early with Jacksonville never recovering. Lawrence, Travis E, Zay Jones, Christian Kirk and Evan Engram can score some points against this Kansas City D but I doubt they can keep up with the MVP and co. JJ’s PICK - Kansas City 31, Jags 21 QUINNY - Kansas City 34, Jags 17 NEW YORKGIANTS @ EAGLES

The G Men. Well done to the G Men… and not only was last week’s road playoff win great, I think they can push the No. 1 seeded Eagles to the edge. Ultimately, I believe Philly will scrape home but the Big Blue defence is staunch, Danny Dimes and Saquon are a handful and Jalen Hurts’ health has to be of some concern.

JJ’s PICK - Eagles 24, Giants 23

QUINNY - Eagles 24, Giants 17

LAST WEEK: 4/6 THIS SEASON: 174-96-1
