FEEHAN - Win & You're In
High class racing returns to Moonee Valley this weekend with a win and you’re in event headlining a day of quality action.
The Group 2 Feehan Stakes over the mile present the winner with a golden ticket entry into the Cox Plate.
Racing at Randwick provides another smorgasbord of quality with the Concorde Stakes, Furious Stakes, Tramway Stakes and Chelmsford Stakes all looking like brilliant races - albeit lead-ups to much bigger clashes for most engaged.
Unfortunately - and for reasons that we need to get to the bottom of - the Feehan Stakes over the mile looks a sedate race. Mr Brightside will go round a short-priced favourite with his five rivals all fresh up for the spring.
Race five at The Valley is the McEwen Stakes which looks the highlight of the day. More ‘Sydney weather’ looks on the cards for Melbourne - so spring sunshine will be more than welcomed when it actually arrives.
Coolangatta resumes in the McEwen, as does speed demon In The Congo. Rothfire and Away Game will add plenty to what looks an absolute scamper over the 1000m.
The Atlantic Jewel for the fillies and Chautauqua Stakes will also be more than handy.
